We love our evening strolls to the central square to watch the variety of entertainment. On this night, the Mayan men, all dressed in very colorful costumes, will hang upside down and swing from the top of a pole to the bottom. One little guy, about 3 years old, wanted to join them and it was humorous watching his mom try to deter him from climbing the pole. As you would guess, it ended in a temper tantrum and he was carried off by his parents.

Another favorite of the evening was the Mayan Fire Dance. It is rather long but we captured an excerpt.

Time for an ice cream treat and then back home.
