Rock Climbing

Years ago we sold our quads as there just weren’t enough places in Washington to ride. Additionally, the boating and quadding seasons clashed and we had to make a choice. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t miss it.

The slick rock was calling us again. We have traveled many of these trails in years past but not on a razor. Time to try a new thing.

We decided on a guided tour and we both got to drive.

One of our favorites ... Hells Revenge ... I was in Heaven.

Hell’s Revenge is rated 6 out of 10 and is all about the steep climbs, steep decents, sharp turns, slick rock and cutting your line over jagged rocks to stay upright. This was so different than riding on a quad. Many times we would go over the top and not be able to see what was below us until we were descending. And there were also plenty of sandy ramped corners to spin the tires and blow sand around. The total course was 6.5 miles and it took us 2.5 hours. We had so much fun.
