Chiquila

It is time to say adios to Holbox and head to Merida. We were up early for the ferry back to Chiquila where we then had an hour to kill. We grabbed some orange juice and sat and watched the very lazy Sunday morning begin. We are always fascinated how the taxi service is provided in the various locations. There were two options available for both passengers and luggage - motor power and muscle power.

We weren’t very far from the bus terminal so we walked, but it was fun to watch how others squeezed themselves and their luggage into a very small space.
