Christmas at StuckeyStead

Dearest Kailee,

We had such a special time with you and your parents over Christmas. Wow, what a lot of snow there was again this year, but we’re so glad your mom and dad were on top of it - literally. That roof adventure last year was crazy but your parents work hard to keep your home safe, warm, and comfortable.

Your Christmas tree was so fun and all your special decorations made it beautiful. What fun to see you are now in a big girl bed and with all the new unicorn decor. You are growing up so fast.

Speaking of growing up, the kittys are growing so fast. Fitzer, for sure, is still our favorite and I think he knows it. He’s such a cuddle bum. Good thing he likes the snow - there is a lot of it this year.

Stormy and Misty’s tummies are growing and we hope there are lots of healthy baby goats in the spring. They will keep you all very busy and I’m sure you will have great fun with them. And Adam is getting so big!

What great fun we had playing in the snow. Olaf, the snowman, turned out pretty good but it was a little odd that he was eating hay. Oh well, he’s a farm snowman so that makes sense.

I wonder what Papa and Olaf were talking about… hmmm! Maybe he was telling Papa to tie his scarf correctly. Whatever it was, Olaf was paying close attention.

Sledding down the hill in the yard was super fun. It was good Papa made the biggest dent in the snow so we all could enjoy a smooth run.

It was a good thing daddy was there to catch you so you didn’t slide all the way down the driveway, although that might have been fun - maybe even a little scarey. You were so brave to show us how it was done.

We loved our gifts and especially those handmade by you and mommy. She is an amazing cook and was always preparing something fun and yummy for everyone.

We love you so very much and can’t wait for spring when we can visit again. 💜
