Last night in Uvita

It was our last night and we wanted a nice dinner out. One of our boatmates on the mangrove tour recommended La Parcela, located out on a point overlooking the water. We took the turn off the main road, onto a gravel, bumpy, large rutted road. We didn’t see anything and some of the passengers in the car were skeptical - assuming we had been led astray. We came around the corner of the point expecting to see a dead end and there it was, a beautiful open air restaurant, literally sitting in the middle of both sides of the point.

We scored a table right next to the railing overlooking the bay. It was stunning.

The meal was exceptional and this was my gin and tonic. Fabuloso!

Then we had a few unexpected guests join us…. It was dinner and a show! What a great last night in a beautiful destination.
