On The Road Again!

We have been intrigued with all the forms of transportation in Mexico and the drive to Sisal provided us with a variety. There are more types of these people movers than cars probably by a margin of 5 to 1, at least in the rural areas. As you can see in one of the pictures below, you load it up and off you go. We saw one very hot gentleman pushing his bicycle cart along the roadway with the cart full of wood. Another guy was riding his bike, cart full of wood and a motorcycle was towing him. We also saw a full family on a small motorcycle with small child in front of dad (the driver), and mom and 2nd child in back. We have also seen pickup trucks with 3 people in the front seat and 10 or more in the back, some standing on the back bumper hanging on - and these vehicles are not going slow. It appears the only rule of the road is to get there however you can.

If it has wheels, it’s a vehicle.
