Passing of a loved one

It was Saturday, July 2 and my beloved step-mom (who, as many of you know. I refer to as mom) had another bout of severe CHF symptoms, including difficulty breathing. She was taken to the ER and Keith and I went to be with her. It was tough to see her struggle and after 2 days in the ER and then ICU, she chose to stop life sustaining measures and go be with Jesus. We moved her to the hospice area of the hospital where family could come be with her. She passed peacefully Monday night. We were so blessed to have spent those last few days with her - it will always be a fond memory.
