Sunday - A day of rest

Nothing more needs to be said, right? Sunday was time for worship, household chores, making water, doing laundry, charging up the batteries in the Trophy (a whole different story), and charging up our own batteries. It was Mother’s Day and I enjoyed all the chats with my kiddos.

We have 7 weeks on the water so we are not in a hurry. We also want to conserve fuel, so we travel between 8-10 knots, which requires we watch tides, currents, and winds closely. We head north to Kulleet Bay, just south of Dodds Narrow and this sets us up for a short run up to the narrows and then into Nanaimo the next morning.

We end the day with homemade pizza and a few more games of Cribbage (that I can't seem to win at yet.) The view was beautiful and the water was flat calm.
