Hammocking at Cocolitas

On our sailing adventure, we found a beautiful beach resort and wanted to try it out. So after our failed attempts up lake, we headed back to town to Cocolitos Beach. It was aleady noon and the sun was high. We found a spot under a large tree, set up a table and chairs and had a yummy lunch. We could hardly wait to get in the water as we were hot and stickey.

This is one of the beaches where you can walk out 200+ yards and the water is only 3-5 feet deep. It is warm, has a sandy bottom, and has lots of fun things to hang out on…. so guess who hammocked out! It looks like he hogged it all afternoon, but there are 6 hammocks and room for everyone to move about.
