Deb’s Love Bags

I love the creativity of matching colors, scraps, ribbon and beads. So I offered to make bags for my daughter Tryna and her husband Jeremy to wrap a gift they had for members of their Mission First Alliance Missionary work. These turned out so fun, so I kept going.

Then I decided to make bags as gifts with a handmade gift card. They turned out beautiful.

Next question was how can I create something that will help others. That's when ‘Deb's Love Bags’ became a reality and I made 100 bags for sick kids. They need to be filled with goodies and then they're ready to go. This is somewhat like the story of Noah, build the ark and they will come. So I stepped out on faith and am now waiting to see where my heavenly Father takes me on this journey. Once that is determined I fully expect I will make many more.

These are some of my favorites, inspired by beautiful materials and trinkets donated by local friends and neighbors. These are all made from scraps.
