Home on the range wildlife

Havalina's wander through on a regular basis. This is scrub behind our house. We sit on our patio and watch the wildlife move about. We don't like them in our front yard as they make a mess of our rocks as they eat the little acorns under the tree.

Turtles in the pond… they often sun themselves on the rocks. The funny thing is, they jump in the water if you get to close, but then they swim over to you to see if you're going to feed them.

Deer everywhere and they are not afraid of your golf balls. If you get to close, they will move.

Wild snowmen crept into the house and were found on the table. They tried to remain incognito, but we figured them out.

Not wildlife, but a very rare sight, a double crested Saguaro. It's on the trail to Flag Rock behind us and so amazing to see.

A stunning sunset out the back door.

More deer blocking traffic. We have several herds that are 20+ with new babies this year. They wander right through our yards, down the street, on the golf course, wherever they want to go. But we love watching them, and no, we don't feed them. One morning I found one nibbling on my hibiscus and was not very happy. He I chased off…
