Our tribe of friends

Some of our closest friends also have a home in Arizona, about two hours north of us. Scott and Kristi were in town and joined us for a very fun evening of catching up. Scott is finally officially retired - we were beginning to think it would never happen. Way to go Scottie, we’ve been waiting forever. More adventures are ahead.

Keith's annual breakfast with friends of many years from his paramedic career. It is amazing that after all these years, there is still such a strong participation. Each year they may look a little bit older, but their spirits are always young and fun.

Our Fox Island tribe, water or land. No matter where we go, there is always an opportunity to get together, laugh, eat, and enjoy each other. We had two opportunities this season with Wickstroms, Dahls, Flints, Rowlands, Augensteins, Wemmer/Bukes, and Lisa Isaacs. Piersons also visited, but we didn't get a picture - shame on me.

Long time friend and previous co-worker, Randy (and Cindy) Lauer visited with us for several days. Of course the boys had to hit a few balls, it's what they do. But it was very fun to visit with them again. We haven't seen them in 15 years and then see them twice in a couple of months. So fun!

More good friends, Jeff and Wendy Hill, came for several days. We got to take in a Seahawks game and it was so fun. We hope to do it again!

Hiked to the top of Dome Rock and then Flag Rock with Kevin and Deanna, our neighbors and often partners in crime… or maybe that should be partners in ‘climb’. Keith and Deanna said “Let's go to the top", Deb said “Let's not". Well, here we are at the top. Theymout voted me but it was fun and is always a beautiful view. Note to the guide, be sure and watch how to get back down. 😲
