Home #9 in Bacalar

We can’t believe we are beginning week 6 and again, found a beautiful little home in the middle of town. We are 1.5 blocks from the square, 3 blocks from the beach and everything is within walking distance. We have enjoyed finding fun places to eat, do our shopping and just look at the sites. The only drawback to this location, lots of barking dogs who need to talk to each other until late in the evening. I won’t say we’re getting used to them, but we have found ways to drown them out. They are all behind fences, but none the less, they must chatter with each other. We don’t hear them in the daytime because it’s hot and like most reasonable dogs, they are sleeping in the shade.
