Williams, AZ

As the day comes to a close at the canyon, we head to Williams where we will spend the night.

Williams is a quaint little town, all decorated for Christmas. We didn’t have to go very far to find a great restaurant for dinner. The food was homey and the mood was fun and festive. Apparently, this is where the Grand Canyon train leaves each day taking tourists to and from the rim. I didn’t know this and missed taking a picture of the last train of the day. It was all decorated as well and a sight to see in the dark.

We took a quick spin through town before heading back to the hotel. The next morning we were to continue our trek west but sickness was descending on us and we had to head for home.
