Zion National Park

After extending our stay, we had time for a day trip to Zion National Park and a chance to meet up with friends from our Tucson home. It was a two hour drive so we left early to escape the crowds - no such luck!

The scenery here was beautiful in it’s own way, but not quite as spectacular as Bryson. We struggled with traffic and parking. After finally getting settled, we decided to just do a hike up to several pools, grab some lunch, and then head back. There was way too many people.

The hike up to the top pool took several hours and was a busy one. There were so many people and several times we had to stop to wait for a path around each other. It was ok but we agreed it wasn't worth a second trip.
