Day 7, Big Bay, Stuart Island to Port Harvey, West Cracroft Island. Distance 60 miles, travel time 6 hours.

Port Harvey to Lagoon Cove. Distance 14 miles, travel time 2 hours.

The journey to the Broughton Islands, located east of Vancouver Island, BC at the northern tip.

There is just nothing like being on the water in the Islands. Truly our home away from home.

Arriving back in Washington brings a comfort of home.

From the east entrance, there are tunnels that limit the size of a vehicle. We only had the truck but had to get a pass because our vehicle was so wide. Traffic was stopped at one end so we could travel through the middle of the tunnel.

Our highest point was 9950 feet.

A ride to the bottom of the canyon was even better than a walk.

Our first trip to Bryce Canyon and it won’t be our last.
